JEREMY SCOTT x adidas Originals 2013 Spring

Have I mentioned that I am totally in love with JEREMY SCOTT x adidas Originals 2013 Spring ‘American Indian’ collection?

I’m pretty sure that you’re sick of me mentioning Iggy Azalea – BUT my newfound love to the collection is all thanks to her!

Cuz she was sporting these sweet babies…

…in her WORK Music Video.

A couple of weeks ago, my girlfriend Nicky Chin a.k.a ‘Baby Wonder’ and I decided to shoot a mini modelling portfolio for myself (Not that I am one – but I’ve done a couple of TVCs & print ads in Malaysia). After watching Iggy’s ‘Work’ MV, I fell head over heels for the pair of ‘Totem Motopa’s’ that she was sporting on a low rider:

So I told Nicky, “Hey, I wanna wear the pants that Iggy wore for our shoot!”

On that very same day, we walk pass a kicks store in the city called Espionage . Lo and behold! What window display poster did they have?

Next thing I know – I’m running in to ask if they stocked them Totem Motopas. Am pretty sure the retail assistant sees my crazed face as I enter  – because she decides to hide behind the counter as I made my way to her. I’m left lingering like a loser for a minute or two before she pops back up to answer my question. So apparently… Her manager didn’t stock them because they retail at $AUD499 and didn’t want to sell ‘A’ piece of clothing at such a high price (YOU MY DEAR SIR, MAY CHARGE ME $AUD150 for them if you happen to be reading this).

She then moved on to tell me that only about 100 pairs were created — worldwide.

Just when I thought that I was so close to getting a pair. Ah well. Maybe someday. When I’m all rich and famous and stuff. I’ll be able to snag a pair without having to run around finding them!

A couple more cool photos of the collection and I’m outta here! Peace!

30 is the new 21

The first landing of PLANEWONDER

I’d like to extend a big shout out to readers & bloggers alike. Welcome to PLANEWONDER. I’m new to the scene, so feel free to ask me questions and don’t be shy to shout out any ideas or stuff that you would like me to blog about.

A rough idea about who’s material that you are/will be reading:
25-year-old Malaysian female currently unemployed and residing in Sydney, Australia.

Mum is Filo and my Dad is Eurasian – So people don’t tend to guess where I’m from or what I am when we’re first introduced.
The first thing, however, that people usually comment on about me when they first meet me is:
“Wow, you’ve got a very strong handshake (for someone your size)”.

I’m 5’3″.

I went to public schools all my years of studying in Kuala Lumpur, until I finished high school and then went on to further my education at HELP University College before flying away to the Gold Coast, Australia where I spent 3 years of my life completing a Bachelor and Postgraduate Degree – both in separate fields. Fast forward. Here I am in Sydney today – UNEMPLOYED.

It will unveil itself to you – SO. JUST. KEEP. READING.

Why should you (keep reading)?
Because I will entertain you, inform you, cheer you up, get you down, motivate you, make you angry …. and the list goes on.

Et voilà! That’s the end of my first (introductory) post.
*Shakes your hand*
